From the time I was a little girl growing up in the Appalachian Mountains of West Virginia, I knew that I wanted to make a difference in the lives of people. Many say it is our environment which shapes our lives and I can honestly say that has been true for me.

Living in a picturesque landscape with such extraordinary beauty only to be contrasted by a constant stream of poverty in the people who live here, has been something I have struggled with since I was seven years old. I can vividly remember the day because it forever changed my life!

I was in Miss Moneypenney's second grade class. It was a brutally cold winter morning and several buses were late arriving to school. One of the late arrivals was a boy from my class. He was crying and holding his hands as he came to the door of the class. The teacher rushed him over to a wall heating unit and began to warm his hands. The child had no gloves. I was so upset because I could literally feel his pain. I went to the office and called my Mom crying to please bring gloves to school. Mom said I was inconsolable and so she arrived shortly with several pairs of gloves. This was the first time I can remember ever feeling someone else's pain in my own body and that being poor is painful.

Today, I have clarity of the experience as having received the gift of an Empath and one of the many more gifts that were to come. As with any gift, it takes time, patience, devotion to understanding your skill and how it works. And lots of practice and then lots more practice.

With each new gift I have fine tuned the process to integrate them quicker than the one before and created a technique to take a direct approach to enhance our natural essence; self-honesty is the most direct path to feeling good and feeling good is all you need to open up your heart to love as bliss, joy, peace, and happiness. Furthermore, it dissolves the poverty mindset (much more to come on the subject of poverty) which most of humanity has in one form or another. From there, everything falls into a pattern of harmony and fulfillment.

A very wise man, Rumi, wrote about fulfillment as, "Everyone has been made for some particular work, and the desire for that work has been put in every heart." For me, SHINE is the manifestation of a heart fulfilled; life coming full circle. A longing and a commitment born years ago in a second grade class of being different to be the difference. Lighting up the world one person at a time until now.

Now is the time to SHINE the spot light even wider. Many have ask me and my team has encouraged me to go bigger. And with that, SHINE has come to life.

Most important for you to know is there is no one more passionate about you feeling good and finding your inner strength than we are at SHINE. If you want to truly feel the power of love, then we are here to assist you in the divine passage into the inner spirit of you because my mission is your mission; living to love and loving to live from a place of freedom and serenity.
